Blending
Blending, mixing… seemengly a simple operation, though the final result must guarantee an homogeneous fibers and colors distribution within the processed batch. We have different and separated plants for raw, dyed and small batches so as to minimize the risk of contamination and optimize processing times.
Carding
It is an ancient operation which has now gained particular and sophisticated features; the task of carding process is to transform the fibrous mass into a uniform veil of parallel fibers to be divided into roving ready to be sent to spinning.
This veil is the joint result of the work of crush rolls, combing rolls, crosslappers and laces coordinated by skilled and experienced hands.
Spinning
A technology with an ancient flavor, ring spinning uses ironing and twisting to transform a still inconstant and unusable roving into a thread with the characteristics requested by the customer.
The results of so much work are the bobbins ready for spooling.
Winding
A simple and apparently trivial operation the consists in recomposing the little thread of each spool into a more suitable bobbin with useful dimensions.
in reality a modern winding machine is a condensate of sophisticated technology, particularly with regard to the Yarn Clearer,
devices capable of “reading” the characteristics of the yarn, while it’s running at high speed, “recognizing” the defective sections and detecting the presence of detached fibers, so as to remove the relevant section of the thread and re-join together the two heads.
Quality Control
Its modern hyper-technological declination is essential, allowing the control of production and the product quality certification.
The reel and the high precision electronic balance to control the thickness of the yarn, the instrument to determine the resistance are all useful tools to control the production process.
To these we add the new USTER TESTER 6 appliance, a sophisticated tool for analyzing the characteristics of the yarn.
