Our history

The company’s founders carry in their DNA the echo of a lasting family tradition. A tradition that originated in the last years of the 19th century, when the industrial revolution transformed Biella into a textile district par excellence.

Back in 1972, on the ashes of an existing textile reality, DORAMA FILATURA CARDATA was born, a productive reality aimed at the production of fine and high quality carded yarns.
These are years of remarkable economic growth, commitment and investments but also of rewarding results.

At the end of the 80s, the introduction of stringent environmental and health regulations in the workplace, as well as the increasing demands for quality, productivity and technological innovation, determined the rapid obsolescence of plants and structures.
To the first production site production site has been added the current operating center, providing it with the most advanced technologies available.
During the 1995 the new industrial plant has been completed starting at operating speed while the old plant has been disposed.
